What do you do when a global pandemic forces you to change plans? Amanda and Adam kept their heads high and decided to have this quaint, beach-themed vow renewal despite challenges. Video has a distinct way of capturing personality, and their attitudes set the upbeat tone for this highlight film!
This styled shoot was awesome because it revolved around an existing love story between an actual couple! As you'll hear in the video, Amanda and Adam wanted to renew their vows in front of Amanda's family members who couldn't attend their small, out-of-town elopement ceremony. We try to take advantage of any opportunity to tell stories, and this styled shoot provided a platform for this crazy love story.
To clarify: This is a real story expressed through a styled shoot. We're not just making things up over here in video land.
The Venue //
Fernandina Beach, Florida has some of the most unique beaches along the Florida coast. This stretch of the beach had massive driftwood trees everywhere which added some character and dimension to the day. Beach weddings can look so different within just a few miles so make sure your chosen section of beach reflects the style you want! Jenny and Lee's wedding was just 5 miles north of this location!
In addition to the natural elements, there were styled areas for the vows, a fruit tray, and even a floral element fixed to a branch extending over the water - it was so pretty! Shoutout to MyGirls Floral for driving all the way from Knoxville, TN!
The Plan //
Two words: Wedding planners. Two more words: Corbitt Events. We personally think having a wedding planner is the way to go for larger weddings with more elaborate production elements like this shoot. Less stress = more happy feelings as your wedding day unfolds!
The Water //
Okay, so you probably shouldn't take your expensive wedding dress into the water just for the pictures, but IF you were to do that, the pictures WOULD DEFINITELY BE awesome. You can check out Brittany Powell Photography for more pictures - she's the best!
