WEDDING // MARTHA & JAY

Sparks were flying at Martha and Jay's wedding - literally! Weddings are always full of joy and excitement, but when you add fireworks to the mix, it adds an even greater level of magic to the mix. The illuminated sky created a truly wonderful backdrop as the wedding day festivities came to a close. From start to finish, Martha and Jay's wedding was absolutely elegant, and we loved every second!

See what we're talking about here!

The Venue //

St. Simons Island, GA is one of the most charming locations in the southeast. Just a drive through will have you enjoying the sights of oak trees lining the roadways, horses grazing on acres of farmland, and the quaint beauty of small-town architecture. Martha and Jay chose Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica as their ceremony location, and it did not disappoint.

Stained glass along the walls, farmhouse lantern fixtures lighting the organ pipes along the back wall, and the perfect blend of brick and stone work inside the venue would leave anyone feeling warm and fuzzy. All it needed was some shiplap and Joanna Gaines would've been proud of it! Kidding, of course.

The Views //

As if the venue didn't have enough beauty to behold, after the ceremony the party moved to the groom's parents' scenic house along the southeast GA river systems for the reception. You could literally see for miles, and we even brought out the drone to capture a small portion of the vast ecosystem. The scenery was on point no matter where you found yourself throughout the day.
