Chelsey and Blake's wedding was the most charming culmination of wedding joy from start to finish. Their stress-free mindset truly set the tone for an unforgettable day! Their wedding was full of bubbly personality - which you'll definitely see reflected in their super cute video.
Don't get us wrong, weddings can be stressful, but at the end of the day it's really just a celebration as you and your partner begin one of the most significant relationship journeys together. That makes it so much easier to relax, right?!
The video speaks for itself, so you should just watch it!
The Venue //
Bowing Oaks Plantation in south Jacksonville, Florida has everything you could ever want in a wedding venue. The majestic oaks brought a not-so-subtle elegance to the ceremony - those things are seriously massive!
There's a sense of meaning trees add to the ceremony experience that really paints a beautiful metaphor of marriage itself. If you really think about the process of planting, nurturing, investing, and consistently caring for the soil that ultimately leads to something deeply rooted and extraordinary over time, you'll never look at outdoor weddings, or marriage, the same.
Now that we're in the tree analogy mood, go check out Kayla and Christian's wedding for more trees!
The First Look //
We're a huge fan of emotions, if you can't tell by the whole tree thing. Chelsey's reaction even before her dad turned around for their first look was the on the most endearing, sweetest moments of the video. The first look, whether it's with the father, grandfather, or groom, provides the opportunity for a truly sincere moment.
Disclaimer: the first look can be one of those things that often gets added into the wedding day agenda without much consideration or context so it can easily become a "filler" events. We recommend it, but we definitely think you should be sure it's something you really want to do - it's your wedding after all!
The Party //
Honestly, we wouldn't even consider this a "reception" because it was a full-blown party. You could tell it was going to be a good time by the couples' enthusiastic entrance! Even the usual reception happenings were exciting. Between the awesome lineup of music, he blow up instruments, dancing, and the sparkler exit, the reception was bumping - that's what the kids say nowadays right?
Have FUN //
The overall moral of the story is, it's your wedding day and you should enjoy it! Have fun celebrating, don't be afraid to act goofy and dance crazy, and kick off the marital bliss with a good time. Put the party back in "wedding party." Live your life. Pinterest motivation for everyone.
