Tegan and Jason had the most memorable wedding in Stuart, Florida. It's also super special to us because it was our first wedding. From the first look to the beautiful ceremony, their vibrant personalities showed through every step of the wedding day and it was so incredible to capture. See for yourself here:
The Venue //
A small town along the treasure coast, Stuart boasts the title "Sailfish Capital of the World." It was only fitting that the wedding was held at the Stuart Sailing Club. The venue featured some absolutely incredible floral work to spruce up the outdoor venue. A circular floral arbor backed the ceremony, an absolutely massive hanging floral piece hung above the dance floor, and the bouquets added so much color and warmth to the overall personality of the day.
Fun fact: We liked the floral work so much, we used it in our logo! :)
The First Look //
So we're kind of going out of order here, but the first look was actually one of the cutest moments of the day. Shoutout to our friend Meagan Puett Photography for picking the most magical boardwalk through a south Florida mangrove forest. The look on Jason's face when he turns around and sees Tegan is literally all the feels.
BONUS POINTS: PUPPIES
As if the location and reactions weren't tugging on our heartstrings enough, as we walked out we saw the cutest little lab/husky mix puppy. Talk about the sweetest thing I've ever seen. It was literally the best. If you have a fur baby, please include it in your wedding, you won't regret it.
The Vows //
Write your own vows. It's the move. Go above and beyond and include an elegant French phrase like Jason. I literally had to go to google translate to learn what rai·son d'ê·tre meant so I could know whether to include it in the video. In case you were wondering, it means "the most important reason or purpose for someone or something's existence." *actual tears*
The Sunset Portraits //
So before I talk about the portraits, I just wanted to go on a well-informed soapbox about photographers. We work super closely with photographers, and that's why we're so passionate about it.
We love photographers who use posing cues. Posing cues add more fluidity and dynamic content for your video. The reality is there just isn't enough time for the photographer and videographer to both reposition or cue the couples differently for their own product so photographers who also use movement based cues make for a super efficient experience. Tegan and Jason's sunset portrait session, sprinkled in throughout the highlights, is full of emotion and movement which adds a ton to the video experience.
Stay tuned //
