If we had to choose just a few words to describe Megann and Michael’s St Augustine wedding celebration, they would be: classic, elevated, and LIT (quite literally). From the stunning contrast created by the black and white motifs to the glow sticks all over the dance floor, this couple hosted a completely unforgettable night for all their family and friends. This is one wedding we love to revisit over and over, so let’s go over all the amazing details. Watch their highlight video at the end og the blog!

The wedding venue

It makes sense that such a classy couple would choose a luxurious yet timeless option for their North Florida wedding venue. The Treasury on the Plaza is not only impressive—featuring historic architecture, gorgeous bay windows, balconies, and plenty of unique corners and crevices for stunning photo opps, but it’s also smack in the middle of charming St. Augustine, Florida. Every element of this unique wedding venue couldn’t have been more perfect for such a memorable day.

The ceremony

Megann and Michael’s ceremony was full of both meaningful moments and visually stunning touches that truly set their wedding day apart. The all-black black-tie attire of the wedding parties, white pillar candles, and beautifully draped white fabrics in the backdrop couldn’t have been more perfectly curated for such an elevated event. Megann and Michael also showed out in style, of course, and every detail—from the Bible they used as a guestbook to the petal-lined aisle—was impeccably them.

The party

Don’t be fooled by the buttoned-up luxury of the couple’s style and decor, however. Megann and Michael know how to get down with the best of them on the dance floor… and so do their loved ones. As you can see, there wasn’t a single dull moment during the wedding reception, and everyone clearly had the time of their lives. Michael and Megann’s first entrance as husband and wife was aptly enhanced by giant pyrotechnics, and the dance floor was quickly filled by dancing feet, joy, and lots of glow sticks and light-up glasses. We’re particularly envious of the Italian pastry cart they brought along to the shindig—we’ll be sure to add it to our suggestions list!
